Deborah Simpson
Deborah Simpson was a Democratic member of the Maine State Senate. Simpson was first elected to the Maine Senate in November of 2008 with her term expiring in 2010. Simpson also served in the Maine House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008.
In addition to being a Senator, Simpson is a restaurant owner.

Simpson lost her bid for re-election to the 15th District seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition. Lois Snowe Mello ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Simpson ran for District 15 of the Maine State Senate, beating Lois Snowe-Mello.[3]
