Biography
Dwyer received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's degree in law enforcement administration from American University. She earned her J.D. from Washington College of Law. Dywer was an assistant U.S. attorney in Maryland from 2002 until her judicial appointment in 2016. Previously, she served as the deputy chief of the U.S. Justice Department’s Organized Crime and Gang Section Division.[1]
