Debra Freeman is the chief magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Judge Freeman's term as a federal magistrate judge began on March 2, 2001, and her current term expired on March 1, 2025.[1][2]
Education
Freeman received an undergraduate degree from Yale University and a J.D. from New York University.[3]
