Debra Irvine
Debra Irvine (Republican Party) ran for election to the Colorado State Senate to represent District 8. She lost in the Republican primary on June 30, 2020.
Irvine was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 61 of the Colorado House of Representatives. She ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2012.
Biography
Irvine earned her B.A. in Government/History from the University of Maryland and her M.A. in political science from the University of Colorado/University of Denver.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 31, 2014. Incumbent Millie Hamner was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Debra Irvine was unopposed in the Republican primary. Hamner defeated Irvine and Mac Trench (L) in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
