Debra McVicker Lynch was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. She was first appointed to this position on October 24, 2008.[1] She retired on October 31, 2022.[2]

Education

Judge Lynch received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and her law degree from the Indiana University School of Law.[1]

Career

Judge Lynch began her career in 1986 as a law clerk to Judge Sarah Evans Barker. She was then Of Counsel at the law firm Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP from 1988 until her judicial appointment in 2008. She also works as an adjunct professor at the Indiana University School of Law.[1]
