The question on the ballot:
Shall the 15 mill tax limitation on General Ad Valorem taxes within Deerfield Township imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased for said township by 3.0 mills ($3.00 per $1000 of taxable value) for the period of 2012 through 2013 inclusive for township roads and bridges; and shall the township levy such increase in millage upon taxable Real and Personal Property within the township for said purpose, thereby raising in the first year an estimated $159,684?[3] |
