A Del Norte County Fairground Sales Tax, Measure F ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in Del Norte County, California. It was approved.
Measure F authorized the county to impose an additional sales tax of 0.25 percent in order to fund the operations of the county fairground. This is the first attempt by any county in the state to use taxes to fund the operation of the fairground. The tax was a special tax, with money earmarked specifically and solely for fairground expenses.[1]
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for the approval of Measure F.
