The Delaware River Port Authority Compact is an interstate compact between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It established a commission that oversees the construction of bridges and management of port facilities shared by both states. It also encourages trade in the port district and improvements to transportation. Certain amendments in the compact also have congressional consent.[1]

The legislature of each member state passes the laws with certain modifications, but the core of the legislation remains the same.
