The Delaware River and Bay Authority Compact is an interstate compact between Delaware and New Jersey. The compact was created to establish an authority that provides for timely development of transportation, terminal, and other facilities in the Delaware River and Bay areas. The compact also has congressional consent.[1]

The legislature of each member state passes the laws with certain modifications, but the core of the legislation remains the same.
