Our Children deserve a world-class education.

Our Neighbors deserve strong communities.

Our Citizens deserve a real change.
My main area of concern is our school system. Currently, 70% of Delaware's students are not testing at grade level in math, and 58% are not testing at grade level in language arts. While this is a trend that preceded COVID, the pandemic made it worse. I want accountability and transparency with respect to how schools are spending resources. COVID funds -- which should go to teaching -- are actually not being used this way. Instead, it is being spent on infrastructure. We can do so much better. Additionally, even though the State of Delaware has had $2.9 billion in surpluses over the past two years, the decision was made to not fully fund mental health support in schools for High Schools and Charter Schools. This needs to change. My website, www.ted4delaware.com, provides more details regarding my public policy concerns.
