Delbert McOmie
Delbert McOmie served as Wyoming's interim Director of Workforce Services from July 2015 to September 2015. He was appointed by Wyoming Governor Matt Mead and began serving on July 10, 2015, upon the resignation of Joan Evans.[1]
On September 8, 2015, Gov. Mead announced a series of cabinet changes. He appointed former Director of the Department of Transportation John Cox the director of workforce services, and named McOmie director of the School Facilities Department.[2]
On June 13, 2016, McOmie was named interim director of the new State Construction Department.[3]

On July 10, 2015, Joan Evans announced her resignation as Wyoming's Director of Workforce Services. Gov. Mead appointed McOmie to serve as the interim director until he found a more permanent replacement for Evans. McOmie is expected to continue serving only until a new director is appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Wyoming Senate.[1]
