Delinda Morgan
Delinda Morgan was a 2016 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Oregon.[1] Morgan was defeated by Brian Heinrich in the Republican primary.[2]
Morgan was previously a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Oregon.[3] Morgan lost the Republican nomination in the primary on May 20, 2014.[4]
Morgan was also a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Oregon.[5] She lost in the general election.[6]

Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rated this race as safely Democratic. Incumbent Suzanne Bonamici (D) defeated Brian Heinrich (R) and Kyle Sheahan (L) in the general election on November 8, 2016. Bonamici defeated Shabba Woodley in the Democratic primary, while Heinrich defeated Jonathan Burgess and Delinda Morgan to win the Republican nomination. The primary elections took place on May 17, 2016.[7][2]
