Delwen Jensen
Delwen Lowell Jensen was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Jensen was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on June 2, 1986, to a seat vacated by William Orrick. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 24, 1986, and received commission the next day. He assumed senior status on June 27, 1997. Jensen was succeeded in this position by Charles Breyer. He retired from the bench in October 2014.[1]
Education
Jensen received his undergraduate degree and from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1949 and his J.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 1952.
Military service
Jensen served as a corporal of the United States Army from 1952 to 1954.[2]
