The Democratic Party of Kentucky is the Kentucky political party affiliate of the national Democratic Party. The group is headquartered in Frankfort, Kentucky.

The party is composed of a governing body called the State Central Executive Committee and a chairman is elected every four years.[1]

Colmon Elridge

Colmon Elridge was elected to a four-year term as chairman in November 2020 after being nominated by Gov. Andy Beshear (D).[2]

Elridge's professional experience includes special advisor to Gov. Steve Beshear and the government relations director for the Kentucky Education Association.[2]
