The Rhode Island Democratic Party is the Rhode Island political party affiliate of the national Democratic Party. The group is headquartered in Warwick, Rhode Island.
The party is composed of a governing body called the State Central Committee and a chair, both of which are elected for terms lasting from the County Biennial Organizational Meeting until successors are qualified and elected.[1]
Party chair
Liz Beretta-Perik was elected to a term as chair in 2023. She previously served as a National Committeewoman to the DNC and Treasurer of the State Party.
Beretta-Perik eared a master’s degree in Finance from Boston College and worked on the both Al Gore and John Kerry’s campaigns for President.[2]
