Dempsey Brewer
Dempsey Brewer was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 31 of the North Carolina State Senate.
Biography
Brewer earned his B.S. and M.A. in Engineering from North Carolina State University. His professional experience includes owning Brewer Testing Services, an organization that provides services to private and homeschool families, and as an engineer consultant.[1]

Brewer's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[2]

Elections for the North Carolina State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 28, 2014. Incumbent Joyce Krawiec defeated Dempsey Brewer and Steve Wiles in the Republican primary, while John K. Motsinger, Sr. was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Krawiec defeated Motsinger in the general election.[9][10]
