The following issues were listed on Grayson's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Health: As a doctor, I provided patients the medical treatment they needed and deserved, regardless of their ability to pay. In Congress, I will work to ensure that everyone can get the care that they need be healthy and stay alive by reducing the cost of insurance, extending the coverage of employees, and expanding Medicaid. I will also protect the health of our seniors by expanding Medicare to cover eyes, ears and teeth.
  • Equality: Your unique talents and interests are what make you special, and I will work tirelessly to help you achieve your own American Dream. Everyone deserves the chance to fulfill one’s full potential, regardless of race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation or gender. I will fight to end discrimination, and push to enact comprehensive immigration reform with a clear path to citizenship.
  • Progress: I believe that all of our children deserve a high-quality K-12 education, and can get a college education without having to drown in debt. I will fight to ensure that your fair day’s work will earn you a fair day’s pay with benefits, including paid sick leave and family leave. And I will fight to protect your hard-earned Social Security and Medicare benefits when you retire.[3]
