Biography
Denise Hayman lives in Bozeman, Montana. Hayman volunteered to be Parent Advisory Council president for the Willson Science and Technology and, later, Irving schools. In 2000, she was elected to serve on the Bozeman School Board.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 10, 2014; minor party and independent candidates had until June 2, 2014, to file. Denise Hayman defeated Kathy Hollenback in the Democratic primary. Ed Johnson defeated Mary MacLaren in the Republican primary. Hayman defeated Johnson in the general election.
