I am a Queens County based attorney with over 22 years experience. During my career, I have served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department and have run my own firm specializing in appellate and commercial litigation. I have also served my community through various organizations. I am a member of the Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I am a Past President of the Macon B. Allen Black Bar Association and am a member of several other legal and civil organizations.
I am passionate about access to Justice for All.
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorites. Atticus Finch inspired me to consider a career as an attorney.
I admire several legal giants like the Honorable Constance Baker Motley, Honorable Thurgood Marshall and Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I also admire some lesser known heroes like the Honorable Jane Bolin, the nation's first Black female judge. She served with distinction in the NYC Family Court for nearly 40 years.
I was rated "Highly Qualified" as a candidate for Judge of the NYC Civil Court the Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commission for Queens County.
