| Collapse all
- Affordability is a problem in Rural Minnesota. The jobs in our area pay less, while the cost of living is higher. We are America's back yard. People come here to fish, hunt, and other recreational activities, but do not pay their share to keep our infrastructure intact. Therefor our community residents are burdened with higher property taxes to maintain our services.
- Healthcare should be a right. Rural hospitals and clinics are closing. We have to drive miles and sometimes hours to see a specialist. With the cost of insurance, people are opting out of health insurance and not maintaining their health check ups. Prescriptions costs, office visits and the only ones thriving are the insurance CEO's. Healthcare for all.
- Education is the key to being less vulnerable. I want public education to be fully funded, and our teachers to have the resources needed to educate our future. Careers in the trades with strong union jobs will help to create a more thriving community.
