Dennis Abbott
Dennis Abbott (April 12, 1941) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represented the Rockingham 12 District from 1994-2000 and 2004-2010. Abbott's political experience also includes local government Town Councilor.
Abbott's professional experience includes technical writer; chief test engineer for the Department of Defense, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard; and an airman in the United States Air Force.
Abbott attended the University of New Hampshire and earned an electronics apprenticeship from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Abbott ran for the Rockingham District 12 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, winning the first of three seats with 3,230 votes.[2]
