Campaign themes

2016

Hof's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

Repealing the Commerce Tax

Dennis is committed to repealing the commerce tax that is burdening local small businesses. His opponent voted for the tax and continues to defend his decision. Dennis knows that increasing the size of government and raising taxes is never the answer.

Improving Education

Nevada's education system ranks among the lowest in the country and Dennis is dedicated to realizing a brighter future for our state's youth. The incumbent candidate has had his chance to take action and failed. Dennis will not waste his opportunity to enrich the educational opportunities for our children.

Fighting Sex Trafficking

Sex trafficking in Nevada has reached epidemic proportions, giving rise to rampant crime and disease affecting our community. Dennis is uniquely qualified to work with the legislature and law enforcement to prosecute the criminals and provide safe haven for their victims.

Providing Localized Care for Veterans and Seniors

Our veterans and seniors deserve the best quality care possible and Dennis is devoted to making sure that those who have sacrificed so much for future generations have localized resources that are both modern and convenient. Our parents and grandparents will have a tireless advocate in Dennis as a State Assemblyman.[8]
