Dennis J. Murphy
Dennis J. Murphy was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Criminal Division, in Florida. He was elected to the court on November 7, 2000 and took office in early 2001. His term expired in January 2019.[1][2][3]
Education
Murphy received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from George Mason University in 1976 and 1983, respectively.[1]
Career
Murphy began his career in 1983 as an attorney with the firm of Thornton, David & Murray. He then practiced with Kubicki Draper, dealing with civil trial and appellate law, from 1989 until he was elected to the circuit court in 2000.[1]
2012 election
Murphy was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4]
