  • In 2010, Dennis Kucinich voted in favor of the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act of 2010, or DREAM Act of 2010. The act authorized "the Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) to cancel the removal of, and adjust to conditional nonimmigrant status" of certain aliens under the age of 30.[1]
  • In 2006, Kucinich voted against HR 6095, which proposed affirming "the inherent authority of State and local law enforcement to assist in the enforcement of immigration laws, to provide for effective prosecution of alien smugglers, and to reform immigration litigation procedures."[2]
