I am a constitutional conservative Republican and military veteran. Rooted in my Christian faith, I advocate for traditional values, supporting biblical marriage and recognizing there are only two genders. My campaign focuses on defending school choice, opposing the inappropriate exposure of children to sexually explicit material, and securing the Texas border. As a business owner, I bring a practical perspective to economic policies. I stand firm on protecting Second Amendment rights, repealing the obscenity exemption act, eliminating property taxes, and removing ESG and DEI initiatives from schools and businesses. My candidacy is built on the principle of "no compromise," informed by a commitment to Christian values, constitutional principles, and a dedication to community service. I aim to restore representation aligned with these values and uphold the US and Texas Constitutions.
  • I stand as a defender of our traditional values and families. From upholding the sanctity of biblical marriage to protecting our children from inappropriate exposure, I will be a steadfast advocate for the principles that have long been the foundation of our community.
  • With a background in the military and as a business owner, I bring a proven commitment to service. My experience instills a disciplined approach to governance, ensuring practical understanding of economic policies. I am dedicated to serving you and our community, bringing both experience and a passion for effective representation.
  • I am unwavering in my commitment to constitutional conservative principles. As your representative, I will fiercely defend the values enshrined in the US and Texas Constitutions, ensuring our government remains rooted in the principles that have made our nation strong.
I am deeply passionate about championing policies that uphold traditional values and family integrity. As a firm believer in biblical principles, I advocate for policies that support traditional marriage and safeguard children from inappropriate sexually explicit materials and exposure. Education is another key focus, and I am a staunch supporter of school choice to empower parents in their children's educational journey. Ensuring the security of the Texas border is imperative to me, addressing both national security concerns and overall safety. Additionally, I am unwavering in my commitment to protecting Second Amendment rights and fostering an environment that respects individual freedoms. Cultural and social policies aligning with Christian values, such as repealing the obscenity exemption act and removing ESG and DEI initiatives, are central to my advocacy. Overall, I am dedicated to constitutional conservatism, aiming to govern in alignment with the principles embedded in the US and Texas Constitutions.
I look up to and admire two outstanding Presidents, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Specifically for their unwavering commitment to conservative principles, their open and staunch defense of Christian values, and their unwavering dedication to preserving constitutional freedoms. Reagan was my first Commander in Chief and his leadership during the Cold War along with his emphasis on limited government left a lasting impact on me and on our nation. Similarly, Donald Trump's bold policies, his support for religious freedom, and his steadfast focus on America-first principles align and resonate with the majority who share those same conservative principles and biblical values. Both leaders stood firm against globalist influences, they championed individual liberties, and they prioritized the well-being of our nation and its citizens. Mean tweets or not, our border was never more secure than it was under Trump, and we achieved energy independence under his watch. How quickly that all changed with the next administration illustrates just how important true leadership is and how it can impact our everyday lives.
Here are some recommendations to help people better understand where some of my political philosophies come from.

"The Federalist Papers" by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay. This is an essential reading for understanding the U.S. Constitution.

"Reagan: An American Journey" by Bob Spitz: A comprehensive biography of Ronald Reagan.

"The Road to Serfdom" by Friedrich Hayek: This classic defends individualism and warns against the dangers of collectivism.

"The Conscience of a Conservative" by Barry Goldwater: A foundational text for American conservatism.

"The Conservative Mind" by Russell Kirk: Offers a comprehensive overview of conservative thought. He underscores the significance of tradition as a guide for society, advocating for the preservation of enduring principles and customs.
For an elected official, the unwavering commitment to constitutional conservatism and Christian values is paramount. Honesty, Integrity, and accountability are what we expect from ourselves and our neighbors, why should this be any different for an elected official? Being rooted in principles that prioritize family, community, and the U.S. and Texas Constitutions. Transparency and a genuine dedication to serving the people should guide every decision. It's about standing firm on beliefs, defending individual rights, and embodying the trust placed by the community in the pursuit of a better, constitutionally grounded future. Elected officials must remember the true role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property. If it does not touch these topics, they should seriously consider whether the government should be playing a role at all.
I bring a wealth of experience rooted in my unyielding commitment to Christian values and constitutional conservative principles. My track record speaks to my strong moral compass, advocating for limited government, individual liberties, and free-market principles. I am a staunch defender of family values, firmly believing that a thriving society is built upon the bedrock of strong families and engaged communities. I have consistently fought for and protected constitutional rights, notably championing the First and Second Amendments. My unwavering support for school choice reflects my belief in empowering parents to make informed decisions about their children's education. Additionally, I am deeply committed to securing the Texas border, ensuring the safety and integrity of our state. I firmly stand against the encroachment of ESG and DEI ideologies in schools, businesses, and government, emphasizing the importance of meritocracy and traditional values. My candidacy is founded on these principles, and I am dedicated to upholding them as your representative.
Based on the values of the people living in District 33, the core responsibilities of this office are to uphold constitutional conservatism, to champion Christian values, and safeguard individual freedoms. This includes prioritizing legislation aligning with family-centric principles, defending school choice, securing the Texas border, protecting gun rights, and ensuring the integrity of our elections. Along with standing resolute against obscenity, against taxpayer-funded lobbying, and against the sexualization of Texas children while representing the people of District 33 (and of Texas) with unwavering dedication, always mindful of the community's needs, and to consistently advocate for policies which are grounded in the U.S. and Texas Constitutions.
As my legacy I would like to be known as one of those who finally returned the Texas House to its conservative roots, unlike those would-be conservatives who claim the title when they campaign and forget it when they start the legislative session. With over 20 years of Republican leadership in Texas including every statewide office, we should literally be scraping the bottom of the barrel just looking for another conservative bill we could pass. Instead we have to wage an all-out campaign to get sexually explicit materials out of our school libraries, which should be a no-brainer with a true Republican majority. This needs to change, we need all our priorities across the finish line. I aspire to be remembered as a staunch defender of individual freedoms, a guardian of family values, and a leader dedicated to the well-being of our District 33 and Texas.
i can remember sitting in the car waiting in the gas lines of 1979. Gas rationing was enacted, and maximum speed limits on highways were lowered nationally to 55 mph. I didn't understand what was going on at the time but I can remember the adults talking about how the government tried to curb high gas prices and inflation through price controls. Later I found this led to shortages, rationing, mile-long gas lines, and the start of a dangerous reliance on foreign countries for oil. I was 11 years old at the time.
My very first job was a newspaper delivery boy in 7th grade. I delivered papers for about a year. In 8th grade I worked as a busboy for a summer and fall season, then in High school I worked at a YMCA every summer which was the only way I could afford to attend camp as a kid. As the only child of a single (divorced) mom who worked three jobs to make ends meet, I knew I had to make my contribution to the family. At the age of 17 I entered the United States Marine Corps where I served for 8 years before being honorably discharged. I am no stranger to hard work.
I would have to say...Atticus Finch from Harper Lee's novel "To Kill a Mockingbird." Atticus represents moral courage, defending justice even when it's unpopular. Similarly, I see myself standing firm on Christian and constitutional principles, even in challenging situations which may not be popular with some, while advocating for what's right and just, just like Atticus does in the novel.
I believe the ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature should be one of collaboration and mutual respect for the legislative priorities of the party who elected them to serve. The priorities of the elected officials should mirror the priorities of their constituents, and the elected officials should work together to pass legislation to protect the life, liberty, and property of those they represent.
Some of the greatest challenges facing Texas now and over the next decade are the border crisis, overcoming the hurdles from liberal courts while trying to implement good legislation that has passed the legislature, and effectively managing the never-ending construction that is straining our resources and infrastructure. We also need to address the overwhelming need to eliminate excessive property taxes and ensure the prosperity and well-being of Texas and its residents.
While experience can offer insights into some of the political workings, I believe there have been some great leaders who emerged from the non-government and non-political arenas with strong commitments to conservative principles and a passion for serving the community in upholding the values that matter to most Texans and Americans.
Without a doubt! Building relationships with fellow legislators is essential for effective governance. It allows for collaboration, better communication, and finding the common ground where we can advance conservative principles. Strong relationships will facilitate the negotiation and hopefully the passage of legislation that aligns with our shared Texas values.
I would say probably Brian Harrison or Tony Tinderholt who currently serve in the Texas House. But I don't want to be a clone of anyone. I would like to be remembered as someone who was known for being the voice of the people he represents. After all, the title is "Representative".
No. I do not have future or further political aspirations. This office is not a stepping stone to launch a political career. I am running because the incumbent has failed to advocate for the policies of the people who elected him. I am running to serve those people, not myself. We have too many career politicians and I do not plan to add to their ranks.
It breaks my heart when I have heard people say they lost the family farm or were forced to downsize or even lost their home because of runaway property taxes. I have also had multiple parents tell me stories of their kids being bullied in schools and the administration punishes their kids instead of the bullies. Kids need to be protected in school, not just from external threats but from internal threats as well. Without school choice, the parents of bullied children were given the option of their child doing online school as the only other public school option, if they could not afford private school or the parent's work situation prevented them from homeschooling. I could go into details but I think everyone reading this will most likely know someone who has experienced one or both of these issues.
A man is trapped on the roof of his house during a flood. As the waters rise, he prays for God to save him. Soon, a man in a boat comes by and offers to rescue him, but the stranded man declines, saying, "I'm waiting for God to save me." The waters keep rising, and a rescue boat comes by, but again the man declines, saying, "I'm waiting for God to save me." Finally, a helicopter hovers overhead, and the crew throws down a rope, urging the man to climb aboard. Once again, he refuses, stating that God will come to his aid.

Tragically, the man drowns. In heaven, he confronts God asking why He didn't answer his prayers. God responds, "I sent you two boats and a helicopter – what more did you want?"

This is my favorite because it highlights the importance of recognizing and appreciating the help that comes our way, even if it doesn't arrive in the form that we were expecting. It's easy to get caught up in labels or origins, like me moving here from California, but I'm here to emphasize our shared Texas values and my commitment to conservative principles. Texas deserves representation based on actions and beliefs, not just where someone comes from. After all, I'm running against a 6th generation Texan who voted for a mileage tax, authored legislation in line with the Biden administration's 30x30 plan, and violated his oath of office while voting to infringe on Texans 1st and 2nd Amendments.

Even though he's a Texan, he votes like a Californian - whereas I, like over half of those who fought and died at the Alamo, am not a native Texan but I am putting everything on the line for Texas.
Absolutely. The power to declare emergencies and utilize executive authority must be subject to legislative oversight. Executive overreach is an issue at the State and Federal levels. A just government is derived by the consent of the governed - and our elected officials need to protect these rights from executive overreach.
Finding common ground on issues may be necessary to achieve positive outcomes, but the key is to ensure that any compromise stays in alignment with core values and doesn't compromise the foundational principles which we hold dear.
Repealing the obscenity exemption. I have a ready version that was worked during the August Congress for Patriot Academy in 2023.
