  • I support lower taxes - incuding property taxes, grocery taxes and other innovative new approaches to lowering the tax burden on families in Idaho.
  • I support edcucational choice. My wife is a public school teacher. We have had our kids in public, private and homeschool environments.
  • I support job creation. As a business coach for international, national and local companies I see first-hand the need for innovative new companies and growth that genertes new jobs in Idaho.
As a husband, father, and grandfather, I have supported and fought for family values my entire life. I believe that life begins at conception, and for over 30 years I have written, co-written and endorsed key Pro-Life legislation to protect unborn babies in Idaho.

I am the son of an Air Force Chief Master Sergeant. I graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona (BA) and studied at West Point, where I was President of the class of 1978. My youngest son graduated from West Point in 2014 and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. I strongly support military, veterans, law enforcement, and their families because I know the challenges that come with a life of service, having seen my own daughter’s family endure the the rigors of being involved in the military and law enforcement for almost two decades.

I believe that every American should have the opportunity to succeed in business.

Small business made America. As a business coach I love to see businesses working hard to succeed for themselves and for the future of America.
In elementary school I was a newspaper boy for the Detroit News. that job taught me to work hard, appreciate what I earned and to celebrate the victories on pay day!
