Dennis Morris becomes district judge

Ardmore, Oklahoma: Dennis Morris was sworn in to office as judge of Oklahoma District 20 on January 10, 2011. The former attorney from Ardmore, Oklahoma defeated incumbent Judge Thomas Walker in the November 2010 general election. “I will work hard, I will be fair and I will be courteous to everyone who comes before the court,” he said. Previously, he has worked as a private practice lawyer, assistant district attorney, municipal attorney and municipal judge.[1]
