Dennis Sullivan

Biography
Sullivan grew up in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He earned his B.S. in cellular and molecular biology from San Diego State University in 2013, his M.S. from the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014, and his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College in 2019. He served in the United States Navy from 2004 to 2009.[1]

|After leaving the service Dennis completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at San Diego State University, while also starting a pre-medicine student interest group. The group's goal was to inform future physicians on military service repayment options to assist with the cost of medical school. These volunteer activities and their accompanying insights continued with food pantries, student education, community outreach and clinical rotations while a medical student in New York.
During his early enlistment he met his wife of now 14 years Kimberly, also a US Navy veteran. Before leaving San Diego, Dennis and Kimberly welcomed their son Sebastian into the world. During delivery Kimberly experienced numerous unexpected complications resulting in emergency surgery, multiple transfusions and an extended stay at Balboa Naval Hospital's Intensive Care Unit in San Diego, CA. This experience provided Dennis with a real life example of the importance of healthcare during crises furthering his commitment for access for all Americans.A Single Payer System is our best path forward for the future, but we need to start by building the bridge to it. "Single Payer" cannot continue to be a party slogan any longer.
The debate on Climate Change is over and it has been proven through the observed increased frequency and volatility of our climate. We need to stop extending support for outdated technologies that are counterproductive and start investing in more ways to build a sustainable America.
Dedicated to maintaining the 2nd Amendment for all responsible citizens. While pursuing for the establishment of common sense gun laws.
