Biography
Webb's professional experience includes work as the senior pastor of the Bear Creek Community Church and a lieutenant with the Grand Prairie Fire Department. He has served on the Irving Planning and Zoning Commission and the Mayor's Human Relations Advisory Committee.[1]

The city of Irving, Texas, held an election for mayor and city council on May 6, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 17, 2017.
Mayor Beth Van Duyne opted not to run for re-election in 2017. The city council seats for Places 3 and 5 were up for election.[2] Incumbent Dennis Webb ran unopposed in the general election for the Place 3 seat on the Irving City Council.[3]
