Note: On May 12, 2022, Administrative Court Judge Charles Beaudrot ruled that Jeff Lewis was not eligible to run in the 2022 primary for Georgia State Senate. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) later upheld the ruling. After Lewis appealed the decision, Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville reinstated Lewis on the ballot.[1][2][3]
2014
The November 4, 2014, general election in Bartow County School System featured three seats up for election. In the District 1 race, Republican incumbent John Howard faced Democratic challenger Paul Nally. In the District 2 race, Republican incumbent Davis Nelson ran unopposed. In the District 3 race, Republican Derek Keeney beat fellow Republican Deanna Berry in the primary, leaving him to run unopposed for the seat. Incumbent Matt Shultz did not file for re-election.
