I am a registered republican, a community volunteer and organizer, a retired Army Ranger, and a Single father to three daughters. I believe in solving problems and taking action.
  • I pledge to be open and communicative with parents in the district and to take the concerns of all parents seriously.
  • I believe in fiscal responsibility and making our limited education dollars count.
  • I will always do what is in the best interest of students, parents, and teachers.
I am a natural and charismatic leader with the benefit of multiple leadership schools and challenges, as well as being a graduate of the most coveted leadership school the military has to offer, U.S. Army Ranger School.
I remember the tragic events of 9/11 very vividly. I was 19 at the time, and it was the reason I decided to pursue a career in the Army.
The primary job of a school board is ensuring the quality of education for the students of the district. This is accomplished by properly managing the operations of the schools from an administrative and leadership perspective, as well as acting as a check on the actions of the Superintendent.
My constituents are the Parents, Students, and Staff in my School District.
One of the most important factors in handling diverse needs is the willingness to listen to subject matter experts. I have already helped parents of students with IEPs, and I also co-created more than 1 organization dedicated to furthering the cause of students with special needs and socio-economic barriers to quality education.
I am active in creating district wide learning pods and will remain active in my church, parent organizations, teacher organizations, and student organizations as well as numerous charities.
Lack of funding and lack of quality leadership. I can address both of these issues by applying my considerable subject matter expertise in both areas to work with the limited funding our district has, as well as take on leadership challenges to attract quality educators.
Good teaching is whatever method that yields result. I will support this by working closely with teachers for continuing education opportunities and constantly assessing our districts overall operational needs.
Our school district desperately needs better special education and IEP resources, especially for dyslexic students. I would like to see teachers
I already am more inclusive and accessible than the current board. I plan on continuing this trend with open virtual question and answer periods and in person meeting availability.
