Derick Young was a Republican candidate for District 32 of the Maryland House of Delegates. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Young was defeated by Stephanie Hodges, Wayne Smith, and David Starr in the Republican primary on September 14. They were defeated by incumbent Democrats Pamela Beidle, Mary Ann Love and Theodore Sophocleus in the general election.[1]
