Deron R. Harrington was a candidate for the Position 4 seat on the Fort Bend Board of Trustees in Texas. He lost election against Kristin K. Tassin in the general election on May 10, 2014. Position 4 is the lone at-large seat on the board with the member selected from anywhere within the district's boundaries.[1]

Harrington completed his B.S. in business administration from Oklahoma State University. He later earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law. Harrington served as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army. He is an attorney and certified public accountant licensed to practice in Oklahoma and Texas.[2]
