Biography
Derrick Coley earned a high school diploma from Suitland High School, a bachelor's degree in biology from North Carolina State University, and a master's degree in environmental policy from American University. His career experience includes working in government relations. Coley has served as a director of external affairs for the Maryland Higher Education Commission, a special assistant for government relations at Bowie State University, an organization manager and public affairs liaison for Prince George's County, and a staff associate for the United States Conference of Mayors.[1]
