Deven Mitchell
Deven Mitchell was the acting Alaska Commissioner of the Department of Revenue. Mitchell assumed office on September 12, 2022. Mitchell resigned as the commissioner to become executive director at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation.[1]
Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) appointed Mitchell acting commissioner of the Department of Revenue on September 12, 2022, to replace Lucinda Mahoney.[2]
Biography
Deven Mitchell earned a B.S. in business administration from Northern Arizona University.[2] Mitchell's career experience includes working as the state debt manager and an investment officer with the Alaska Department of Revenue's Treasury Division and the executive director and treasurer of the Alaska Municipal Bond Bank Authority.[2][3]
