I am a Queens County attorney. I practiced law in the Family criminal and civil court almost everyday for the past 14.5 years. I would be ready on day one for an assignment in any of the three courts.
  • I am running as a Democrat independent of the party machinery because voters want judges who are not beholden to anyone but the voters.
  • I believe the courts should be about fairness and justice. Judicial candidates should value these principles and embody them in their career..
  • Judgeships should not be treated as a career move but as a way to promote more justice and fairness in our society.
I want the criminal justice system and the judicial system to be fair to all communities.
Even though the ballot title is civil court title, whoever wins can be assigned to family court, criminal court or civil court. Therefore, at minimum, the person should have practiced law in those areas just like I have during the past 14.5 years.
