Dewey Lawes Falcone
Dewey Lawes Falcone was a judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in Los Angeles County, California. He was appointed by former Governor Pete Wilson in 1993 and retired from the court on May 8, 2013.[1] On August 15, 2013, Falcone passed away at the age of eighty-two.[2]
Education
Falcone received his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in 1953 and his LL.B. from the University of Southern California in 1956.[2][3]
Career
Before he became a judge in 1993, Falcone worked as an attorney in private practice with his father A.V. Falcone in Los Angeles, California for thirty-four years. He specialized in real estate, construction, and family law.[2]
2012 election
Falcone ran for re-election to the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Falcone was automatically re-elected.[4]
