Dewey Spies is a judge of the St. Tammany Parish Justice Court in Louisiana.[1] He was first elected to an unexpired term in a 2007 special election, going on to win a full term the following year. Spies then resigned in 2011 to run for a seat on the parish council, but, after being defeated, he ran again for the justice court in 2014 and won. His current six-year term began on January 1, 2015, and will expire on December 31, 2020.[2][3]
