Dexter Donnell was born in Bay Minette, Alabama. Donnell's professional experience includes working as a network access manager. He served in the U.S. Army from 2009 to 2021. Donnell earned a bachelor's degree from Troy University in 2014.[1]

CPT (R) Dexter G. Donnell was born and raised in Atmore, AL where he enlisted into the United States Army as a Cannon Crew Member. CPT (R) Donnell commissioned as an Infantry Officer upon receiving his degree from Troy University in May of 2014. CPT (R) Donnell retired from the United States Army in December of 2021.
  • For the People! Bye the People! CPT (R) Donnell understands the true meaning of servitude, having served his country the majority of his adult life, he desires nothing more than to continue his service to the citizens of this great State and District
  • CPT (R) Donnell’s top priority will be to serve and support those that elected him. His main efforts will be focusing on employment, equality and improving the Infrastructure of Alabama’s Congressional 5th District
  • My biggest focus will be bringing the much needed resources to combat the current COVID 19 pandemic within our district.
September 11th 2001, I was in 9th grade history, it was at that time I know I wanted to join the Military and serve my Country.
I was employed as a sandwich artist at Subway at the age of 16 for 3 years.
It’s much like the US Army, it’s made up of citizens with different believes, backgrounds and ethnicity.
It’s something that Congress should look into.
Yes compromise is a must in all things that require negotiation.
