  • Legislating proactively instead of reactively
  • Creating a system that protects our workers from exploitation
  • Modernizing the school funding formula to create a more equitable system
Environmental Justice: We need to Legislate proactively instead of reactively to secure the rights afforded us under article XI of the Illinois constitution. This will ensure security and stability in our environmental health for ourselves, our most vulnerable communities, and our future generations.

Labor: We need to legislate proactively instead of reactively to ensure that the workers in Illinois are provided with the tools they need to create stability so we can start to rebuild our middle class.

Education: We need to legislate proactively instead of reactively to modernize and bring equity to the funding of public education in our state, at all levels.
