As the granddaughter of Palestinian refugees, I am a first-generation American with strength and resilience in my DNA. As the eldest of five siblings, I assumed the role of interpreter, negotiator, and healthcare advocate for my family at a very young age. This experience taught me the importance of showing up for those you love with empathy and commitment. I am the embodiment of the promise America holds, and my background inspires my work to extend opportunities to succeed in Arlington, where I chose to move after college. My expertise lies at the intersection of philanthropy, government, and business. In more than ten years of professional experience and community advocacy, I have consistently led teams to hone operational efficiencies, increase revenue generation, and expand business development. By keeping the constituents of District 3 at the forefront, together we can make thoughtful decisions and take collective measures to ensure that our community flourishes in every way possible. My driving principles for this campaign are equity, empathy, and action, and I will bring these to City Hall.

  • I am running to make sure the city government works for the community, not just special interests.
  • I hope to restore trust in the city by elevating transparency and expanding community involvement.
