Diane Dixon
Diane Dixon (Republican Party) is a member of the California State Assembly, representing District 72. She assumed office on December 5, 2022. Her current term ends on December 7, 2026.
Dixon (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the California State Assembly to represent District 72. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Diane Dixon lives in Newport Beach, California. Dixon earned a B.S., with honors, in political science from the University of Southern California in 1973. Her career experience includes working in various roles for Fortune 300 company Avery Dennison, including director and vice president of corporate communications, senior vice president of communications and corporate affairs, and chief communications officer. Dixon also owned her own consulting business.[1][2]
Dixon volunteered as president of the Association of California Cities-Orange County, as a member of the regional council of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), and as a board member of the Orange County Council of Governments (OCCOG). She was elected to the Newport Beach City Council in 2014. She also served as mayor.[1]
