Diane Gordon-Cannon was a judge of the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. She assumed office in 1996. She left office on October 31, 2020.

Gordon-Cannon ran for re-election for judge of the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. She did not appear on the ballot for the retention election on November 3, 2020.

Gordon-Cannon passed away on October 31, 2020.[1]

Career

For her entire legal career prior to her judicial election in 1996, Gordon-Cannon was an assistant state's attorney for Cook County.[2]

Gordon-Cannon was retained to the Cook Judicial Circuit Court with 76.4 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4] 

Evaluations

In evaluating judicial candidates for retention in 2014, the Illinois State Bar Association was unable to interview Gordon-Cannon.[5]
