I have lived in Michigan my entire life, raised in a single parent household. I am a follower of Christ, single mother of two college students, who graduated high school with honors, financially we struggled, but I made sure my family had what they needed, and we saved for what we wanted. I graduated high school and attended Macomb Community College where I studied psychology and business. I have a strong background in the medical field, I am a Certified Dog Trainer, involved in animal rescue. I am a Constitutional Conservative.

I look up to my mother. She is a strong, independent woman who always made sure her children had what they needed. She taught me the value of working hard and being the best that I can be in whatever I decide to do in life. She was a disciplinarian and taught her children that we are responsible for our own actions. She taught me morals and christian values. She taught me to stand up for what I believe in, which I have done my entire life.
The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of these United States of America and The Bill of Rights.
I am honest and transparent. I am strong in my faith. I am hardworking.
It is the core responsibility for an elected official to represent the people of this state and pass legislature that benefits the people of this state.
That I fought hard to protect this great Republic and the people in it, maintain our God given freedom.
The first historical event that I can remember is the Space Shuttle Challenger. I was 17 years old.
I work at Ascension Health System as a Critical Care Technician for 21 years.
The Bible. Why? Because it has brought me closer in my relationship with God and has shown me how much he loves His children and the life He has always intended for us to live.
There's joy in the house of the Lord.
There is always a struggle to not let the events life throws at me to steal my inner peace and joy.
We are supposed to be a representative government. As of late, I don't believe the people of this state have witnessed that. The ideal relationship would be a legislature and governor working together making decisions that benefit the people and prosperity of this state.
Reducing the deficit due to government spending.

Building up our small business sector that was severely damaged due to the lockdowns,

Undoing the psychological damage that was done to our children due to the Department of Education's implementation of Marxist indoctrination in our school systems.

I was speaking to a gentleman that is visibly disabled. He has been denied social security/disability twice. This is not a man that doesn't want to provide for his family, he is someone due to his medical condition at this time would be a person that employers are likely to hire because his current medical condition requires frequent visits to medical professionals. He is now under stress on how he will be able to pay his bills and provide for his family and he is left feeling defeated, all due to the process under the current social security/disability system. It was very heartbreaking. I believe the process needs to be looked into.
The governor should never grant emergency powers to his or herself. As we experience throughout this whole pandemic, those powers were abused. Any situation that may require granting the use of emergency powers, needs to be based on actual facts, and evidence, not probability, falsehoods and political agendas. In the event of any future pandemics, emergency powers that are granted should be limited and no vaccine nor mask mandates allowed. The people will maintain their bodily autonomy, Absolutely no closing of small businesses while big box corporations remained open. People have a right to earn a living. All emergency powers should have an end date and the legislature should oversee the process and not allow any governor to abuse those powers.
In a perfect world, everyone would agree on everything, we are not in a perfect world, and you cannot please everyone. That being said, if the policy that is being brought to the table does not benefit the majority of the people of this state, I will not compromise.
