Diann Karen Marsalek (Democratic Party) is a judge of the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. Her current term ends on December 2, 2030.

Marsalek ran for re-election for judge of the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. She won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Diann Karen Marsalek received her undergraduate degree from DePaul University and her J.D. degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law.[1] She began her career as a Deputy Clerk of the Cook County Circuit Court. Marsalek later served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Illinois Department of Corrections, as an Assistant Attorney General and as a legal advisor to the Illinois Secretary of State. She was appointed to the circuit court bench in 2011.[1]
