To Learn what I can do for you and our community, it is important to learn about my past. I am a Ukrainian immigrant whose family fled from the grips of the USSR oppression and greed. I know the value of hard work and American principles. I understand compassion first hand given these recent events. I say this not for pity, but for strength to make my home North Carolina resilient to what happens when you let the egos of rich and powerful determine the policies of the Government. I promise as your State Senator, I have one overarching principal to make our State resilient to greed and self-serving interests. As you State Senator, I have a transparent agenda to be the voice of the common, not the powerful.

My simple promise: • I have no hidden agendas • I will always do as the voters direct • I will not roll over for the powerful • I will be transparent

  • I am not doing politics as a career. I am doing politics for a purpose.
  • I am fighting for the people who vote for me. Let me fight for you!
  • I operate on basic principles of honesty, integrity and family values.
Education and our kids: I believe that we should teach our children how to think rather than what to think. To prepare the next generation to address new issues and seize possibilities that we have yet to consider. Taxes & Growth: Our community’s lifeblood is business. That lifeblood has been drained from us. I intend to not only put a stop to it, but to make North Carolina a model for how to reintroduce manufacturing. How it works: For the next 20 years, any business that comes manufacturing from overseas pays ZERO taxes on anything produced. This is a simple, yet effective approach that will have a significant influence on North Carolina’s whole economy. Affordable Healthcare: We have a world-class healthcare system, but we are still grappling with the cost issue. I will advocate for three policies that will lower healthcare expenses. Renewable Energy: Affordable, abundant energy is essential for economic and social stability. It is a defining feature of a civilization that cares for everyone.
