Dinsmore Tuttle
Dinsmore Tuttle is a judge for the Colorado 19th Judicial District Court. She began serving in this position in January of 2009.[1] She retired in 2013, effective November 30.[2]
Education
Tuttle received her law degree from the University of Denver Law School in 1982.[1]
Career
Tuttle began her career as a public defender in the counties of Adams, Weld and Larimer. She then became a private practice lawyer in 1990. In October of 1997, she was appointed a District Court Magistrate. She presided over the delinquency docket and then the Family Court before January of 2009, when she became a District Judge.[1]
Elections
2012
Tuttlewas retained in the general election on November 6, winning 63.01 percent of the vote.[3]

Judicial performance evaluation
The Nineteenth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance announced its recommendations for judges up for retention in 2012. According to its website, the commission evaluates judges based on the following criteria: integrity, legal knowledge, communication skills, judicial temperament, and administrative performance.[4]
Judge Tuttle was recommended for retention by an unanimous vote. [5]
