Dionne Flowers is the Democratic city register for St. Louis, Missouri. She was appointed by Mayor Lyda Krewson (D) in August 2017 to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Parrie May.[1]
Flowers was a Democratic member of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen in Missouri, representing Ward 2.[2] She was first elected to the Board in 1999 and served until her appointment as city register in August 2017.[3]

2015
The city of St. Louis, Missouri, held elections for Board of Aldermen on April 7, 2015. A primary election took place on March 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 2, 2015.[4]
In the Democratic primary election for Ward 2, incumbent Dionne Flowers defeated Joyce M. Hall, Jasmine Turnage and Winfield Scott. Elston McCowan ran unopposed in the Green Party primary. Flowers defeated McCowan in the general election.[5][6]
