District of Oregon recommendations made

Oregon: Senator Ron Wyden has released the list of the five recommendations he is making to President Obama for a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. The recommendations are to fill posts currently filled by judges Ancer Haggerty and Garr King as they move to senior status.
The judges nominated by Wyden are Oregon Supreme Court justice Thomas Balmer, Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Henry Kantor and Lane County Circuit Court Judge Karsten Rasmussen. Also recommended are attorney Michael Simon and federal public defender Steven Wax.[1]
