Granville C. Burgess
Granville C. "Doc" Burgess was a county judge of the Nassau County Court of Florida. He was elected on November 7, 2006, and took office the following December 22. He was re-elected in 2012.[1][2] Burgess died on December 6, 2012.[3]
Education
Burgess received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his law degree from the University of Florida School of Law.[4]
Career
Burgess worked as an attorney in private practice and as a public defender in the State Attorney's Office prior to joining the county court in 2006.
2012 election
Burgess was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.[5][6]
